Regular Season Player Pool (Temporary Replacements for Individual Games as Needed)
- An on-call standby list of players that are willing to participate in extra games with minimal short notice during the regular season when other teams in the same Division face a shortage of rostered players.
- The list shall be created and maintained by the GLL Registration Director (AKA the Player Agent) in strict accordance with Little League regulations [Regulation V].
General conditions:
- A coach may not request or choose a specific player, and may not do so unilaterally without the consent of the GLL Registration Director.
- A player may not be borrowed from an opponent and a player must be assigned temporarily by the GLL Registration Director.
- A pool player may not enter the game defensively as a pitcher.
- A pool player shall be inserted into the offense at the very end of the continuous batting order (below any/all players that are regularly assigned to that particular team).
- The Registration Director will dictate whether pool players will be utilized during any potential end of regular season divisional playoffs.
- A player pool is not permitted for use in the postseason Little League Tournament.
